Angel Events organizes “Miss India Angel World Pageants”, an international beauty competition with its profits being appropriated for the upliftment of women and the girl child. In most Indian families, a daughter is viewed as a liability and she is conditioned to believe that she is inferior to men. Sons are idealized and celebrated whilst the girl child is discriminated even before she is born. The most extreme expression of the preference of sons over daughters is seen by the common prevalent practice of female infanticide and sex selective abortions.

Indian census of 2005 confirms the persistence of patterns of discrimination against women and girl child, both within the family and beyond, limiting their access to education, nutrition and other essential and basic rights.

Angeli Kapoor Puri is an artist, business entrepreneur, socialite and a Social Worker dedicated to several causes. Artistic creativity is in her soul and as such she has made significant contributions in many fields.  Angeli Kapoor Puri has also achieved worldwide fame as an internationally acclaimed Jewelry designer with base in London, Dubai and New-Delhi.

She has made an impressionable mark in the field of Jewelry as an International designer and has also had the privilege of being honored for her achievements by the American media.
