Over 35 beauty queens form around the world will compete for the prestigious title of Miss India Angelworld.

Miss India Angelworld title is a unique title to hold, it offers the new title holder not only the opportunity to meet many distinguished people and to be a part of the glamour and glitter of show business, but also advocate major issues of concern around the world. In doing so, her life will forever change and in return, she will make a difference in changing the lives of others.

Angel Events is an agency that organizes “Miss India Angel World Pageants” and other Cultural and Social Events to show case the concept of “Women of Substance”. While Angel Events engages in diverse business activities, however, the profits earned are diverted to Angel Foundation a charitable Institution. Angel foundation works towards empowering women to learn to be financially independent so they can live a life of dignity.

A Letter of Intent was signed between Angel Foundation and UNODC ROSA, at UNODC office. The document was signed by Ms. Angeli Kapoor Puri, Founder of Angel Foundation and Ms. Ashita Mittal, Officer-in-Charge, UNODC.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Puri, said, "For a woman to live life with dignity, economic empowerment is very crucial, especially to come out of domestic violence and to protest against other crimes, such as female foeticide and human trafficking. We are very happy to partner with UNODC for their campaign-Global Initiative to Fight Human Trafficking and are confident that we will be able to better address the issue of women empowerment together."
